People will always be quick to tell you what you cannot do and why. They will discourage you from trying faster than most of us would care to admit. But what if you show them up? What if you show them that they were wrong? Against every odd and statistic, you accomplish what you set out to do? As much as I might provide inspiration to others, I also need to be inspired as well. I came across this video and had to share it with you. This young man walks across the stage to get his high school diploma after being paralyzed…Paralyzed teen walks…and shows his family and friends, his doctors, and the world that the impossible can be done. I have had some very fun talks with women this week and have encouraged them to do what they think they can’t. To have faith in what is yet to come and believe in who they are and why they are important to all of us. We all need to remember that we all need to be encouraged and that gives us hope and that leads to determination and from there, success. Yoda says, “There is no trying. There is just do or don’t do.” The choice is yours and you have to find out what you are made of and how far you are willing to push yourself. Remember to celebrate the small accomplishments, even if success or failure hasn’t come yet. Maybe taking advantage of EVERY opportunity is where you get things started and you start that ripple effect. The internet has a term for something that is shared and it reaches people all over the world — VIRAL. When you do the impossible, you start that ripple and then people start to feel the gentle pushing of that ripple and eventually it turns into a surging wave. Use those people who doubt, that tell you, “you can’t”, that don’t believe, to motivate you to push through it… to go where they themselves are afraid to go…to better than you were yesterday…to grow into who you are fully meant to be. DO THE IMPOSSIBLE!
