The power of will

I am a goofball, and I knowingly admit it.  I have been called a ding-dong and a silly girl as well.  All terms of endearment from loved ones.  I say this because I find inspiration from the strangest of places…this time from a movie about a superhero from a comic book.  Funny how things sometimes just stick with you.  I find certain words give more strength when we use them…for example, spark is not as powerful as ignite.  When it comes to the power of will, do we really embrace it for all it is?  Where does this comes from?  Does everyone have it?  Does we have different levels of it?  How do we get more, if we fall short of our needed supply of will?  My power of will comes from within…like yours does.  For example, the words “will” and “can” are similar but have different strengths when used.  If I asked one of my sons to take out the trash, and I used the word “can” instead of “will”, it implies to wonder if they are able to take out the trash, not will they commit to taking out the trash.  When vows are said, they use words like “will” and “do” because they are solid and cannot be unbroken.  Do you need to commit to something?  What are you willing to do to get there?  People always think it has to be a big thing, but it doesn’t.  It can be something that only you know, like if you tell yourself, ” I will smile at everyone I see today, even if I don’t feel like it.”  Change doesn’t start outside of us, change is in us.  Ghandi said, “Be the change you want to see in the world.”  We all have will, but do we use it or let it go to waste?  By giving our will to the world, we give permission to others that they can also.  When your will is strong, nothing can stop you…not even the many evil arch enemies of our lives.  Because at that point, we become our own superhero and who doesn’t want to be one of those?  Have a FANTABULOUS Fun Dip Wednesday!!!
