What does “what” sound like? What does it feel like? What words would you use to describe it so that if someone could not see you, how would they know? Could you convince someone clear across the world of what it sounds like when you live? Not just exist, but truly live. I promised myself a long time ago that the mundane routine would never be apart of me daily existence and for the most part, I have kept that promise. What does it feel like to let your funny sense of humor be seen by someone you just met? What does life sound like? Is it the perfectly picked up house with the clean windows and the dusted off baseboards? Is the shy childhood that still keeps you from venturing too far our of your comfort zone? Is it the shame you feel because of the past indiscretions that seem to rear their ugly head just when you thought you had buried them for the last time? What do you feel? It can be difficult to share our feelings. My husband and I decided a long time ago that feelings are never good or bad…they are just feelings. But how do you feel about your life? Some people are better about talking about their feelings than others. I understand that. By admitting how you feel, it makes you vulnerable and no one ever likes to feel that. But by listening to what your heart has ached to say for so long and giving it permission to have a voice…regardless of how small — it releases I. It no longer festers and it creates a freedom you never dreamed of before. I want to hear what your life sounds like. I want to see what you stand for and how make the world better because of what you do for IT, not because of what IT does for you. I want you to constantly challenge yourself to be better than you were yesterday and inspire others to reach heights they never thought they could. Existing is for the weak — the ones who have chosen to not get their money’s worth when it comes to life. Catching people by surprise (I received one last night) is the best kind of way of living and we can choose to do it every day. You may think you are stuck in a rut because of the same day activities, but you can choose to take them as they come or you can make them better. It doesn’t take the perfect plan and it doesn’t take any money. Changing your attitude is free. It will not cost you anything but could give you everything. What have you got to lose? Try it for a week and let me know what your results are…tell me how it made you feel. You will decide that you will never be able to go back because you have begun to hear life and you like what you hear…you have begun to “Live Life Loud” by Hawk Nelson
