Are you doing this?  Right now?  Are you living a life well lived?  Why not?  It is not too late to start, that is for sure.  I am proof of that.  Every day, I am improving and am better than I was the day before.  Some days, I may not feel like it, but if I look really hard and put away the issues that bring me down, then I am better than I used to be.  I don’t expect to have all of the friends in the world nor do I wish for all of the money in the world.  I only wish that when my time comes that I can look back on my life and say that I lived it well…that I gave it everything I had and have no regrets.  It is so unfortunate that we live within constraints that we either self impose or are imposed upon us.  Are you proud of who you are and what you have become?  It is easy to blame others and circumstances that have been dealt to you, with no request or demand from you.  At times, we have to take a few steps back in order to move forward.  We may even have to re-evaluate a situation many years after it was first looked at because things and people have changed.  We all have our “off” days — when meanness, selfishness, and petty comments get the better of us.  We just cannot let those days rule and have to overcome those feelings when things do not go our way.  Do you know how to get to living a life well lived?  The very first step is that you have to believe that you can!!  Your future is not yet written and your past will help guide you along as you travel through the present.  What can you change?  Will you allow obstacles, big or small, to come before you and the life you want to lead?  A life is not meant to happen…it is meant to be lived…Live it well.
